The New Zealand International Convention Centre has been named as a finalist for the International Congress and Conference Association (ICCA) Best Marketing Award.

Other finalists:

  • Greater Bogota Convention Bureau
  • London & Partners
  • Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)
"The BMA has become a unique centrepiece of the ICCA Congress, the only award in our industry that combines careful, detailed scrutiny of each entry by a team of past winners and other marketing experts with the voting input from hundreds of peers around the world,"

says chairman of the judges and BMA Moderator, Patrick Delaney of SoolNue.

Callum Mallett, General Manager of NZICC Operations will be representing the NZICC team, presenting in front of an audience of competitors and colleagues at the ICCA Congress in Borneo on the 15th November 2016.

The NZICC entry showcased how the team addressed the challenges of designing sales tools based on what the customers said they wanted.

"The work alongside BuildMedia developing an immersive, interactive building model is something we are proud of, and represents the digitally advanced nature of New Zealand and our talented partners. It is a pretty unqiue tool that allows people to really get a feel for what the NZICC will be like when complete, and helps our partners and team go to our customers, rather than them having to come to us,"

says Sarah Burilin, NZICC Marketing Manager.
