After a breakout year on the road behind Getting Killed, Geese will return to New Zealand in February, presented by Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents.
The run builds on the band’s Australian headline debut in February, when feverishly sold-out underplays and a Laneway Festival run introduced the band to a much wider audience. The year since has been a steep climb. In February, Geese took out International Group at the BRIT Awards, beating HAIM, Tame Impala, Turnstile and HUNTR/X. They made their Saturday Night Live debut – Cameron Winter even featured as the subject of a skit – played on NPR’s Tiny Desk, and sold out Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom and London’s Troxy. Earlier this month, Geese played their biggest hometown headline shows yet at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.
General tickets go on sale Friday 30 October at 10.00am.
