NZICC is located in central Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, within walking distance of the city’s hotels, restaurants and transport connections. The venue has 1,327 underground car parks on site and an airbridge to the adjoining Horizon Hotel on Level 4. For organisers, this means delegates travelling from within the city and from further afield can reach the venue with ease.

Our three purpose-built boardrooms seat up to 26 guests, with city views across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. The boardrooms are fixed, single-purpose spaces designed for confidential discussion, which suits board meetings, interviews and sensitive negotiations. On-site underground parking and direct lift access mean attendees arrive and are seated within minutes.
For 30 to 120 guests, our mid-size meeting rooms can be configured in theatre, classroom, U-shape, cabaret or banquet layouts, and reconfigured between sessions. A single booking can therefore carry a morning presentation and an afternoon workshop without moving rooms. Catering and built-in AV are provided in-house, so no external suppliers need to be coordinated.
Our largest meeting rooms accommodate 130 to 270 guests and seat up to 135 in classroom configuration, giving each attendee desk space for note-taking and laptops while maintaining clear sightlines to the front of the room. Catering can be served on the same floor, which helps all-day sessions and multi-day training programmes run to schedule.
Opening the movable walls between adjoining rooms creates conference space for up to 500 guests — sufficient for a full plenary while retaining the proportions of a meeting room rather than a hall. As an Auckland conference venue, the NZICC also scales beyond this: Ariki Hall holds 4,500 and Te Paepae Theatre 2,852, both in the same building, so a growing programme need not change venue.
Many of our meeting rooms are located on the same floors as our largest event spaces. On Level 5, delegates move between a plenary session and their breakout room on foot, without lifts or escalators. For multi-stream conferences, this shortens changeover times and reduces the delays that accumulate across a full programme.
