I’ULEO O ANANAFI / ECHOES OF YESTERDAY is a celebration of traditional Samoan music as a carrier of the Samoan language from one generation to another. Join the EFKS Loimata o Apaula choir for this special fundraising concert, featuring powerful choir performances of selected traditional Samoan compositions. These songs are musically notated and compiled into a music book, which will be available for sale on performance day. A music album of the same songs will also be available for sale. Through this concert, we hope to bring our Samoan community together to offer tribute to the composers of traditional Samoan songs and acknowledge their invaluable contribution to the preservation of the Samoan language through their music.
